In search of representation

Creating the cover of I'M LATINA was one of the most emotionally challenging parts of this journey.

Paula wanted an image that wouldn’t just depict one Latina—but a whole community. It had to reflect the richness and complexity of our identities, cultures, and stories. The colors, the clothing, the accessories, the diversity of skin tones —all were carefully chosen to mirror the beauty and strength that exists across Latin America. Most importantly, Paula wanted the artwork to radiate the warmth and spirit that unites us as a people. That cover is a visual tribute to all Latinas—from the past, the present, and the future.
