Paula S. Guerrero is the founder and creative force behind Raíces. An actress, writer and director, she studied at the ‘‘Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute’’, and has worked across film, theatre, and television. Inspired by the silenced voices of women in her family and community, Paula uses storytelling as a way to reclaim space, confront trauma, and celebrate identity. Her work is rooted in personal truth and cultural expression, giving voice to those who have been unheard for too long.

‘‘Raíces was born from the silence I witnessed growing up, looking at the generations of women whose voices were ignored, diminished or erased. I began writing to give women and myself a voice’’.

Today, Raíces creates theatre and film to amplify stories of abuse, trauma, healing, and strength. For those who have been silenced. For those who are no longer with us. For all of us.
